Abdominal Discomfort
10.27.08 (10:50 am)   [edit]

My first close encounter with the PAD rally.

Say we need travel insurance! Oh well, Hobbit wife was in great abdominal pain last Sunday morning at 3am and we feared that it might be something worst but thank God after a checkup she was only diagnosed with some intestinal infection. Nevertheless the pain resembles that of a serious gastritis pain or rather what we would worry most is apendicitis. I was sleepless and was trying to give comfort as much as possible. It was funny how the pain came and went and for once she was fine and next, was in discomfort. This made me imagined how my roommate/friend Bob suffered apendicitis rupture way back in college and immidiate surgery had to be done. No sign, no nothing. It just happened. Also thought of my own experience with gastric pain. I was literally holding a pack of rice on my hands when I finally could go back to sleep after so much abdominal pain.

Shopwait #2
10.27.08 (9:59 am)   [edit]
On Chulalongkorn Holiday, I went out with Hobbit wife to a major shopping place where shopaholics like her called it "glorious haven." Well, at first I thought oh good. It's a sunny sunny day and we could enjoy some tan and ice-cream. Well, when we arrived "glorious haven", her shopping chump called up and wanted to join her. So I okayed and went about for myself for several hours, including getting a haircut and did some surveying of the things that I would like to SPLURGE until the time got close to sunset. After awhile I did feel useless walking and got tired and wished for once I could own a playstation 3 and stay home! Anyway, Hobbit wife finally was done and we went for dinner, but after that we took more walks before we headed home. Holiday, that's how it came to past.

Conman's Will
10.27.08 (9:46 am)   [edit]

Glorious! Today I just found out that I was one of the $2, 500. 000.000 USD winners. Apparently my email has been randomly selected and approved as a charity grant beneficiary of a tycoon named Ananda Krishnan Charity Foundation! How lucky!!!

You're right!!! I hate spam emails. I figured most of the emails of this beneficiary kind come from South Africa, but this one claimed to be from Malaysia itself! How absurd! To read the full content of this beneficiary will, go here. Whosoever you are who spam my email inbox, go get a life!

2 month old toy!
10.24.08 (2:07 am)   [edit]

Recently,I've been abusing my laptop a lot because of the numbers of assignments that I have to finish. Laptop? Yes, I got it two months back when the old pc went 'kabluey' for good. It's not a super duper laptop or anything. But, to me it is enough as long as it carries out the basic functions. I'm not a gamer neither am I a graphic artist so I don't really care about powerful graphics that kind of stuff. I'm just a microsoft office user, leecher, surfer and movieseer. That's all. However, I do need to up-grade my laptop's memory in order for it to run faster so that I'll be able to enjoy it more!

Need more time!!!

It's almost the end of October and I'm not done with my assignments yet! Arrrgggh!!! I need more time!!! I've got a major one due on the 31st of next week! Yikes! Help! How I wish I could stop time and complete all my assignments at my own pace and leisure. Looks like I'll be having panda eyes soon for sleeping late!

Sunday ShopWait
10.20.08 (1:50 pm)   [edit]
I had a good time yesterday accompanying Hobbit wife to breakfast at Sunrise Tacos with her buddies. While the girls went shopping, I instead spent my leisure time at Starbucks trying to complete my assignments. Soon or later I got bored of all the noise and got dizzy as people walked in and out of the cafe so decided to go around and take a look at things! By the time I left, Hobbit wife and her girlfriend was done with their shopping ONLY at this particular mall (you know...shopping don't just last half a day for spendthrifts!). The moment I got to them, they were enjoying Starbucks while in my hand was just a BK coke! I joined into the conversation and listened to them talk about all the stuff that they should have bought, the sale, the KVM, the bla bla... When we finally got to leave the place, half a day was about gone! Nevertheless, it was good since I didn't go home empty handed. Someone surprised me with a valuable gift and boy did the waiting paid off! :)

Rich or Poor?
10.15.08 (12:10 pm)   [edit]

Just dealt with the key man insurance a while ago since they haven't send me any sticker for my car yet! By the way, how rich are you? A friend of mine who is sitting next to me right now is calculating where he stands in the world chart hehe! He is surfing Global Rich List. All you need to do is enter your income in either US dollars, Pound, Yen, Can or Euro and see your position among the rich! I rank no. 1,488,503,335. You even can SEE your position literally among the poorest and richest. Try it and who knows you're interested to share some of your wealth to a good cause! :)

Free BoatRide No More
10.08.08 (4:06 pm)   [edit]
When I first read about Leena Jangjanya from the media, I immediately pulled my memory together of the place where I have seen her selling her claimed to be the best acne treatment, pink nips and tummy tucks..........It was at Pratunam shopping mall! Yes! And I remember we (Hobbit wife and I) said something about the products which was quite funny. Not that I am implying something bad but something that is quite hillarious in a way. Who could ever guess that this beauty shop owner will run for a government position but here she is, campaigning and fell into the sewage water! As Hobbit wife puts it, at first you have a sense of pity lingered around but after watching the clip which my wifey puts on her blog , I say pity no more! Yeaah!!

Tacos I Want
10.08.08 (3:46 pm)   [edit]
Feel like eating tacos right now. The Sunrise Tacos in Emporium will only be open end of next week and we are lazy to go to Asok's branch! Oh well...By the way, my favorite from this Mexican restaurant are Three Tostadas (with crispy shells) and Nachos supreme. One serving can make you full to the brim! I remembered how (before we had a proper kitchen) Hobbit wife and I love to buy tortillas and home-made salsa so we could just snack on them while watching Korean series every evening without having to cook a single thing! The homemade salsa somehow taste better than the commercial ones of course but somehow I noticed that they go back quickly too! Maybe someday when I am bored of teaching, I should think of franchising?! Actually their franchise plan is on their website so if you are interested in opening your own Sunrise Tacos in Bangkok, contact them.

Bill Gate's Poem
10.08.08 (1:57 pm)   [edit]

The Moment you are in Tension
You will lose your Attention
Then you are in total Confusion
And you will feel Irritation
Then you will spoil personal Relation
Ultimately, you won't get Co - Operation
Then you will make things Complication
Then your blood pressure may raise Caution
And you may have to take Medication
Instead, understand the Situation
And try to think about the Solution
Many problems will be solved by Discussion
This will work out better in your Profession
Don't think it's my free Suggestion
It's only for your Prevention
If you understand my Intention
You will never come again to Tension

- Bill Gates

I got this in my mail box from a friend this morning and imeediately made this my best appetite suppressants since I was expecting classes after classes until lunch time! Hoping that the food is delicious today because boy is my tummy growling in hunger!

Near is better
10.05.08 (3:28 pm)   [edit]
Recently, we've been contemplating again about the fact that staying close (Sukhumvit area) to our working place and most hanged out areas is far better than staying at Pattanakarn. The thought of travelling home to a place that wasted our precious time to rest and enjoy at the end of the day bugs us all the time! Both of us wished that home could just be a few minutes away from school.

However, looking at our current situations, this won't be a reality at least not until next year. Life sucks! Once everything else is settled then probably we could dail up the most affordable moving services available around here and move out. I guess at the moment the only thing that I can do is to count the days till that time comes.
