How many of you out there are loyal users of Paypal? Well, I am for one a very loyal Paypal user. I do almost everything with my Paypal. Paypal made everything easier to handle and accomplish. Like for example, I use it to accept payments for completing any online jobs and for purchasing items online. However, I'm sure that some of you might not agree with me. I've read quite a number of complaints from people about their personal experiences with Paypal and I can tell by the language and the tone they used to describe their partnership with Paypal that their experiences weren't sweet at all. Even my brother in law have some issues with them. Some people label them as "scammers". Well, I don't know for sure. I mean I understand how they feel, but so far I haven't encounter any problems with them yet. Hopefully, not! Not ever!
For those of you who have had bad experiences with Paypal, maybe you would like to look into authorize.net. Okay, I know. You probably might be wondering what on earth is this thing? No, it's not the replacement of the boy band No Authority okay! Not even close! Authorize.net is the new online payment on the block! Yeah! It offers quite a lot of impressive features such as:
Online manual payments
Customer checkout
Online account management
Technical support
Security
Risk management
Fraud prevention
Billing services
And a whole bunch of other stuff! So, what do you think? C'mon! Give it a try! I'm sure you'll learn to love it!
I'm not the kind of person who enjoys talking about political matters or any subjects that revolves around politician and that sort of stuff. Usually I will honestly avoid meddling in because it is really non of my darn business to do so too. However, today I loosen my tie a bit. Has anybody read about poor ol' Thaksin's predicament lately? His case is really sizzling hot at the moment. If I'm not mistaken, from what I've heard on the news (TV & radio) and read both online and offline news sources, he's involved in a lot of shit! Whoa! I don't really know how's he handling all of the pressure from all around. He must be having an extremely hard time and most probably be experiencing serious headaches because all of this. From the looks of it, I don't think some of the anti-Thaksin parties will let him get away that easily.
He's the most wanted all right!
I heard that they might take extra initiative to fly all the way to England to get him and bring him back to where he belongs. I'm not too sure where? But, with all the charges pressed against him, I don't think he'll be dwelling in paradise no more. Poor guy. I kind of sympathize him. He's really trying to get away from it all. Well, thats what he thinks. Not easy buddy. I guess he was kind of thinking maybe if self-exiled himself, people will stop chasing after him. I guess not. Nope, I don't think he'll be looking forward for any luxury vacations soon.
I've always been a fan of sports car and I still am. Although I don't know much about them or what is it exactly that make them super fast, I know for sure that their engines must be monstrous and the body should be somewhat low. Usually sports car are rear wheel drive (not all of them I guess), two seater, two doors and are especially crafted for perfect handling, acceleration and style.
What you are looking at above is the 1913 Vauxhall which is the earliest form of sports car. It doesn't really look like one right? Back in those days they didn't call it sports car yet because the term 'sports car' was only coined after the World War I.
Talking about sports car is the least I can do in contrast of having one for real! Ouch! Reality bites. I don't think I'll ever own one forever. Maybe there's a bigger chance for me to own a remote controlled toy sports car though. Lol.
Poor me!
Well, at least I can say that I own one! A toy! Lol. Talking about sports car, which part of the sports car do you find really sexy or attractive? I know this is kind of queer of me for asking about sexy/attractive body parts of the car. What the heck right? Other people can talk about which parts of the human body that attracts them, so why can't I talk about car body parts. Hmmm....if I have to choose...I probably would pick the rims. Yes! It's all about the rims man!!! Car rims are like shoes to us humans. It's like wearing a pair of hot Pradas or Nine Wests! Oops! Now don't get me wrong okay. I got these names from all of those long a tiring shoe hunts with my shoe crazed missus. I don't wear them.
As I was saying a while ago, rims are like shoes to us. Choosing the right rims for our cars is quite important because it not only show that we care about style but also having the right rims/wheels can improve handling and traction. Here are some very hot and sexy Corvette rims for your eyes to feast and drool on.
I know everyone! I'm really not good in making promises. Lol. I mentioned previously that I'll be posting the second part of my worst Thursday the day after my my first post but it seems that I wasn't able to do so. Argh...blame it on me the lazy bone! So, anyway here it is the second part also the last one.
Finally, after waiting for almost 40 minutes or so, my missus finally came out of the Land & Transport building. I was so relieved to see her mincing swiftly towards the car. I was saying to myself, "Thank goodness!" But, just as she was about to get into the car my phone suddenly rang and it was the academic assistant from school (who is also my buddy). He told me that I was supposed to teach another kid at 9am. When I looked at the time it was already 8:40! "What the heck!" How was I supposed to reach school in the rush hour of the morning?
To make the long story short, I did manage to drop my missus off at her school and also reach my school at around 9:30! Thank heavens a colleague of mine covered for me for the first 30 minutes of my class. So yeah, everything went smoothly after that. At noon time, I managed to make a few successful phone calls to my car dealer and financier. Thanks to technology, I again managed to get hold of a copy of my blue book (well, part of it) through the fax machine. I couldn't imagine what hell I would have to go through if the fax machine wasn't invented!
Now that I have a copy of my blue book, the next thing I need is the certificate from the engineer (well, thats what they call the person who does the inspection for your LPG system over here). Again, I made another quick call to my mechanic while waiting for my missus (around 3:30pm) and asked him whether it is possible for me to get my certificate that evening. And to my disbelief he said "Yes, if you can catch him before he leaves at 4." Yikes! That was like 30 minutes more! As soon as I hung up my missus showed up and off we went! I can really say that God was really on my side that day! We managed to get the certificate from the engineer and also found out that it was still possible for us to speed off to the Land & Transport department and get our car registered!
Again, we were truly blessed! When I was submitting my documents to the people at the department, I was supposed to give them a copy of my passport too. How was I to give them a copy of mine because the nagging photocopying lady on the ground floor just went home! Argggh! However, to my surprised the ladies who were on duty that late evening only looked at each other and said "Mai pen rai noh!" and accepted my documents anyway. Phew! I was so R-E-L-I-E-V-E-D! To sum it all, we drove off that evening with smiles stuck on our faces!
You guys know what? I think I need to capture those stressful moments in the form of funny t shirts.
Last Thursday 14th was one of the most tiring event of my life! It all went by so fast chronologically. Like it was already lined out for me that day. I thought that it was going to be another normal & boring day for me at first. Boy was I wrong!
It all started the day before when my missus found out through a local Expant forum that all owners of cars installed with LPG fueling system must get their car registered at the nearest Land & Transport Department before the Saturday 16th of august. That news gave both of us quite a scare because as far as we know, we can only get our car registered if we have our "blue book" with us. In our case, the "blue book" was with our finance company.
In the morning of Thursday 14th we drove off very early to the Land & Transport Department, but not for the car registration thingy. We went there because my missus needed to renew her drivers license. When we finally reached that place, cars were already piling up creating a monster jam. What were they doing there so early in the morning? After observing what was happening there I finally came up with a conclusion that all of them were checking up their engines & registering their cars before Saturday. Yikes! I quickly made a few phone calls to my Thai friends, asking them what was I supposed to do.
I found out that I had to get my engine certified from an engineer & obtain a certificate of approval concerning my LPG system plus the "blue book" to qualify for registration. Man I was really annoyed & troubled about those findings. I did nothing after making those phone calls. I just waited for my missus patiently & at the same time kept on looking at the time as I was already late for work. I really need to rush back to school because I wouldn't want to look into Atlanta jobs opportunity soon. This post is getting way too long & my eyes are getting heavier every minute. I guess I have to continue with part 2 tomorrow then. Till then sayoonara everyone!
I was a bit puzzled today when I saw that one of my blog assignments was to mention about spider traps. My first reaction to his was "what the heck am I suppose to write about spider traps?". Well, after a moment or so, I took the time to check out the owner of the ad. I found out that the owner of that particular ad specialized in traps especially for creepy crawlies. Yikes! After browsing through their site for a bit, I kind of inferred that there are quite a few of fugitive spiders and other fury crawlies hiding out in the states. Please correct me if I'm wrong. This is just a summation out of ignorance. Well, what do you know? It looks like I've just written up my post for today. Lucky me.
Here I am again at school! Yes, this is a typical blue Monday for me unfortunately. But, the good thing is school will start late but end early. That's what I like about summer school. I am mighty glad too that I have a very light load to carry. Peeps...I've got lots and lots of time to relax. Anyway, I can't be too relaxed because I have plenty of assignments to complete and as a matter of fact, I have two papers to write that's due next month! Yikes! I've got to keep my fuel of motivation flowing to make sure that I'm psyche enough to finish up both of my papers before the due dates. I remember some of my friend's comments back in my high school years that whenever we are stressed and focused on our studies, it'll drive us nuts and we could even lose weight because of that. At that rate who would even think of diet pills to loss weight right?
I went out to throw the garbage a while ago and I couldn't help noticing that our door was the only one without extra locks! All our neighbors fixed another lock to make their homes safer from any intrusion. We are aware of it too that fixing another lock might do us good. Unfortunately, up to this moment we haven't taken any action to actually fixed another one to our door. According to the land lord, fixing an extra lock won't cost that much. Quite cheap. Anyway, If I can afford a Schlage door knob it'll be super! However, that might cost us a hefty sum of Bhats! Hmmm..oh well later peeps!
Here's how to embed music in tblog. There are two steps.

If you have any questions, feel free to buzz! Perhaps, I might miss something in this post because my attention is divided between the Olympic opening on TV and blogging. Hehe! Good luck Barnabus1!
What are some of the small, trivial & ordinary dislikes of people now days? Hmmm...I can think of some & the first thing on my mind is acne. Yes, I know there are a lot of girls & guys out there who simply hate this thing called acne! That's the public enemy or the worst nightmare for some people. We would do anything to get rid of this horrible & despicable red/yellowish dots or in some other forms. Even if we have to waste a huge amount of money to try all of the products available in the store. It's such a pity that we have to spend that much. However, for most of us that is something that we really must do! So, how do you get rid of them anyway? Well, there are thousands or millions of how to get rid of acne articles available in the net. You'll just have to pick out which one that really suits you.
I found one from www.Howstuffworks.com. I hope you all don't mind me pasting it here.
1. Don't pick, press, rub, or otherwise manipulate your pimples. If you do, you risk spreading the bacteria and increasing the chances of scarring.
2. Use an over-the-counter product containing benzoyl peroxide once or twice a day. It helps break up the plug of dead skin cells, bacteria, and oil that clogs the pore and forms an acne blemish. And it cuts down on the bacteria, too. Start with the lowest concentration, and work your way up.
3. Try over-the-counter products containing sulfur or resorcinol, which help unplug oil glands by irritating the skin. However, most dermatologists believe that benzoyl peroxide is the most effective over-the-counter ingredient for acne.
4. Don't just spot-treat acne; put the product on acne-prone areas, too. That can include your entire face (avoid the lips and eyes), back, and chest.
5. Go easy on your face. Washing removes oils from the surface of the skin, not from within the plugged ducts. In fact, if you're too aggressive in your quest for cleanliness, you may end up drying out or irritating the sensitive skin on your face.
6. Wash properly once or twice a day, using a mild soap, and rub lightly with your fingertips and warm water. If your skin is oily, use a soap with benzoyl peroxide for its drying properties.
7. Don't use brushes, rough sponges, cleansers with granules or walnut hulls, or anything similar on the delicate facial skin.
8. Don't use oily products, such as hair pomades, heavy oil-based facial moisturizers, or oily cleansers.
9. Use water-based make-up.
10. Don't get a facial. You may end up doing more harm than good.
11. Don't rest your chin on your hands or constantly touch your face.
12. Protect your skin from cancer and wrinkles without aggravating your acne by choosing an oil- free sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher.
13. Don't worry about what you eat, unless you notice a correlation between a particular food and your skin breaking out.
14. Watch out for iodine, which can be found in multiple vitamins and iodized salt. Some doctors believe iodine may encourage acne.

p/s:I'm on my way to help a friend move office furniture! I'm coming!
I am back in MC again for my last class. It is going to be another week of lectures and discussions. It sounds hectic and boring but to me, the previous Assessment course and this Culture course, both are not bad. I learned a lot and gained new insights that could help improve my current work. I enjoy having lots of discussions in class. This way yes, saves me from not falling asleep and what is nice is that ideas could never run dry.
This evening we had BBQ party to celebrate a birthday of a friend to the family I'm staying with here in ML. The food was really good and I was bloated by the time the party ended. Managed to socialized with old friends and talk about computers, work to commercial real estate. I also just had the chance to meet an old friend, a pastor from Sabah, who had been called to work here. All the best to him.
Last Sunday I went to a popular computer/IT center called Pantip Plaza to buy something with Hobbit wife. It was hard to look for available parking space when we arrived around noon time and we had to circle the place until we reached the top floor just to look for a place to park. What I don't understand was how some people managed to park their car in some odd places that were not meant for parking. Thus it made it harder for other cars to maneuver. You could hear cars honking at each other and who knows what came out from their mouth that you don't hear. It's kinda frustrating when you see some shoppers busy loading and unloading their boxes right on your way as if they are moving companies and not care about the line of cars waiting for them to budge! Mind you, the parking space is small and limited in each floor except for the open space roof top so when traffic gets congested down there, we should know better not to take the car. We had no choice really since we didn't want to be walking and lugging boxes at the same time.
After struggling with parking space for nearly half an hour, we finally managed to move around. However, there's another traffic jam that you need to deal with inside this IT mall. It's human congestion. It's hard to look at things properly while people were pushing us from the back, front, sides, corners...you name it. Enough said of a few turn off facts about Pantip Plaza. At least, I got what I wanted and am very satisfied with it. Thanks to Hobbit wife who eventually said yes and gave in to my request.
Last week I met a friend who I haven't met for a long time. We went to minum kopi and talked about family, friends and everything under the sun. While talking, he suddenly pointed out "Eh, how come you never gained weight?" I was going to joke saying that I've been taking these very effective weight loss pills but, I decided to tell him the truth that I'm the kind of person who doesn't put on weight easily. If I'm not mistaken there are a few of my friends who are just like me.
