In less than 2 weeks time my in-laws are going to be here with Hobbit Wifey's aunt and after a few more weeks my school will start summer school so I hope to be able to slow down a little on my teaching load since I have been overwhelmed by work lately. Then at the end of next month I will again resume my last two courses in my studies and hope to finish by then. Oh wait, come to think of it...Where's my holiday week? None?? Well, I hope time spent during the summer will be worth it otherwise I should have chosen home.
Speaking of home, one of my friends is looking for mortgage lenders that would help him get an apartment he could call his own. How cool ya?! So, do you know of any good ones??
So we went to get our car this evening thinking that tomorrow life will resume to normal not knowing what was at the other end. When we got there, we thought "ahh! Finally a mini reunion!" But nope...the mini reunion was barely just thoughts because we were told to come back the next day, which is tomorrow, again. I felt like saying something like...but before I could even say it, Hobbit Wifey was quicker to give the workshop guy a cold shoulder and told him off that he should have called and informed us earlier instead of promising "Wednesday, 5pm" but we still go home carless! When people expect us to have memory stick brains, we expect even more for them to have one too! *big sigh*
I'm addicted to 'Heroes'! Yes! I've just started watching it last Sunday and my instant reaction to it was wow! This is the kind of TV show that I'd definitely watch to the end. The guy with the ability to teleport/bend space & time is my current favorite! His ability is super cool! I wish I possess that kind of power. With that ability, I'd be able to teleport myself back & forth to Sabah in a wink of an eye. Chicago travel won't be a problem too!
Recently, I found out that I've been eating way too much. Now, I don't know if it's a good or bad thing? When I eat, I always have that desire to just satisfy myself by keep on eating until I'm bloated to the max! I also noticed that my tummy is beginning to form this extra layer of...you know...not that visible though. But, if you were to grab a hold of it, you would know it is there. Anyway, to tell you guys the truth I kind of like it this way. What?! Yes, you guys heard me. I like it! Since way back then, I've been dreaming of adding some extra 'isi' to fill in my figure. Haha! Weird eh? So, I'm actually not worried of my condition at the moment. Phentermine without a prescription won't be needed anytime soon for me!
I was rummaging through my stuff a while ago and you guys want to know what I found? Lots of stuff! Some of them are like useless and are ready to be thrown out! It always amazes me how we could ever accumulate so many useless items over the years. I remember when we were in the process of moving out to our new place, it took us quite a while to decide whether some of the items move with us too or goes to the trash. If I'm not mistaken, we kept some of the unwanted items just because of its sentimental value. Silly eh?
I wonder how you guys solve this if you ever were to encounter this kind of situation? I hope we don't gather up more 'to be' unwanted items when we shop in the future. Got to remind my other half not to shop too much because if I'm not mistaken, there are a couple of malls having their best buy session starting soon. Yikes!
Hi there! Yeah, I know. Haven't been blogging for a short while now. It's kind of hard when my PC is busted for good! I have to resort to my wife's laptop. Another good reason for not being able to blog because it's really hard to get her off this thing. It's hers anyway. So, to keep you guys updated with what I've been through for the past two weeks...here it is. Last week's pictorial overview.
Went for a trip with my students to Wat Po to see the reclining Buddha.
Can you see his feet?
Next, off we went to Siam Museum which is just five minutes away from Wat Po.
Fooling around with my kids.
Celebrated a friend's birthday at Cili Padi.
Had a fun time with Jordan, Chrystal & Uncle.
And....the most interesting part of my weekend!!!
Got nabbed by one of these! But...we got away because...ehem...you guys know how.
Amazing Thailand!
Yup...I guess that's all. Catch you all again. But, before I go...phuleseeee...don't forget to check out these : wood blinds!
My weekend was pretty relaxing and good. I enjoyed a good sermon online which went through me more than the sermons in church does. One thing about sermons in this church that I frequent is the abnormal volume of noise. Yes, noise! It depends really on which side or place you're seated at and the whos around you. Anyhow, I enjoyed the sermon I heard immensely last Sabbath -- The Danger of Being Right by G. Bietz.
There was no usual restaurant hopping this time. Perhaps the tummies kept that one behind but we had special guests who joined us for lunch! It's W & C and Z came too. Didn't change a bit! Still the man I knew in college!
(I'm learning to like pictures on this blog!)
The rest of the day was spent relaxing and reflecting. Had the chance to again better my skills at cooking and HW enjoyed her fried potato stick with beans much better!
Struggled a bit on Sunday...In fact I went blank trying to write my paper. Then take my nagging bored-to-death Hobbit wife out. She made big progress by taking up my challenge to drive me all the way to CW. While there, we visited two restaurants. The first one wasn't that satisfying since they probably changed cook or did the good one ran away...Then we hopped into another one to taste their cha jang myun. It was in fact good but a bit too pricey!
HW complained it was a small piece of chunk! I agreed!
This is good!
Then there was a concert going on. It was none other than DBSK from Korea. You should see the fans screaming. HW and I were saying what the heck...since we're here! I guess they were here as the ambassadors of Yamaha motors and the theme for the night was all red. Lots and lots of fans! Heck! Didn't get to see anything except the wide screen they put up! Better luck next time! Meanwhile, check out these natural acne treatments. Yeah! Back to work now!
Many people are skeptical about Leptovox, a super supplement that contain only all-natural ingredients that have been clinically proven to provide multiple beneifts to the human body. However, the pill has proven itself to be one of a kind when it benefits those who are into weight management, weight loss, skin care, anti-aging and many more. What impresses many about this vitamin is the list of high quality ingredients such as Brazilian Acai, Cayenne Pepper Fruit, Garlic and Barley. Well, I am putting this here because it would be a reference as this was recommended by one of my colleague. I don't know if we could get it here in Thailand but you could always order it online.
We visited a friend yesterday and had a great time looking around her glittery mansion. We also managed to play around cool weighing machine that apparently indicated that my body age is that of a 17 years old! That is a surprise considering I am the total of another added half of that number. Well, we had a good time and I enjoyed the lunch! :)
This weighing machine is really cool!
KD and I after a big delicious meal
I'm back to work, work and work today while HW is having her fine holiday! Don't get me wrong...I am good with what I am doing right now just that I can't help having a blue blue Monday. The weather keeps on changing and it tends to affect people's moods a little bit thus it's better to just put up a big smile. What I need right now is a good hot drink. So let me peep whether the queue at the espresso machines are still up!
