It's Halloween day at school today! I was not at all surprised when I reached school this morning to see lots of devils and angels running around. I think this is one of the greatest occassion of the year for those kids. Why? Because they are able to show off their costumes to teachers and their classmates. Even my own students were already talking about what costumes they're wearing for today's occassion. Guess what? We're going to have a haunted ESL room too! I saw Mr.Luis carrying a big bag and who knows what's in it. If I'm not mistaken that big bag he was carrying looks like a travelpro bag. Not sure. Well, I'll be taking quite a lot of pics today. Maybe later, I'll post some of it here.

Yes it's another boring weekend at home. Sometimes we dream of going back home and just rest. Never have to think about working and tiring ourselves to the bones again. Yesterday, we were so bored that we slept the whole afternoon and only woke up at 6 in the evening. We didn't plan to do that but, we got no where else to go. It's good we have friends close by our home, but nope that's not the case for us right now. We spent time and talked about the good old times when we were in college where all of us would meet every Sabbath at auntie Ritha's place to cook and just socialize. It feels so good to live around people you know. We need to escape from this place for a while. Places like vacation home Orlando would be a good place to escape to. Don't you guys think so?
This is one of my favorite song by Van Halen. Listening to this song reminds me of the 90's. Those were the days of my life. Driving along with my friends in Presley's yellow banana car. Haha! I wonder what happened to that car now? Who knows. Probably it's in the junkyard or still wheeling around Tamparuli I guess. One song brings back lots of precious memories fooling around with my friends. Too bad I never went to any of their concerts. Anyway, it's impossible for you to get a hold of any Van Halen tickets back then. Especially in Tamparuli! Not a million years dude!

It's been 4 weeks if I'm not mistaken since my car had its last bath! And boy! It's really dirty! We talked about sending the car to the car wash, but the thought of the weather now days...stopped us from doing so. It's not worth it at all spending a 100 Baht and the next thing you know it's going to rain and the car is back to square one! Dang! I really pity the car now. It looks faded and dirty! I think one of these days I'm going to get myself one of these car covers to protect my car from the rain. I really envy those people around me driving in their shiny looking car. Oh well...
Every day's a deja vu for us. It keeps on raining and flooding every morning and evening. I feel so sorry for the car because it has to endure all those yucky dirty water. Maybe if it was alive, it would've probably quit by now. I don't have the slightest idea why our soi keeps on accumulating that much water? Is it because of the drainage system or what? Our soi really suck! Big time!
For those of you who aren't familiar with the word 'soi', it is equivalent to a street or road. One of the lights in our bedroom died out the other night and boy was my wife really annoyed by that. Somehow, the dimness in the room is making her dizzy. Of course, I don't have any problems with it. Actually, a few weeks back I add on one extra long light bulbs to our two existing light bulbs in that same room.
