I'm glad that summer school is finally over! Summer school was not heavy or stressful at all. I kind of like it because it's not that serious. We don't have to give students any grades or reports. You know what I need right now? Yes, I need another holiday! Unfortunately, there are non for us teachers. I could just imagine where I would go. To a peaceful resort far away from the city. Or I could go to a place like Flamingo Las Vegas ! I'm being naughty here. I bet my good friend Teddy would like to go there. Yes, I know he'll go for it, if he had the chance. You know how he is, well you don't know. Places like Flamingo Las Vegas have many things in store for you. From restaurants to entertainment spots everywhere.

Merdeka! Merdeka! I hope it's not too late to wish Malaysia a happy birthday after 50 years of independence. My friend even smsed me just to inform me that they're having a party in conjunction of the national day celebration on the 30th of August. Anyways, life for me and wife are just the same. Actually, the Malaysian embassy had an open house on the night of the 30th, but too bad we didn't go for it. Well, luckily we didn't because someone was experiencing a very bad stomach ache because of Rum Raisins flavored ice cream.
I stayed up late last night in order to complete an important assignment that is due next week. It was very late and I was very tired that I ended up falling asleep on the sofa. You might think, “Hey, that’s not so bad. At least you fell asleep on the sofa.” Well, tell you the truth, the sofa is not that comfy at all! If you first set your eyes upon the sofa it might look fine and comfy. But, don’t let your eyes deceive you. You must let your bottom sink on its surface first, and then you can judge it. Don’t be surprised if on your first contact (bottom - sofa), the first thing you’ll probably be thinking of is “what the... am I sitting on a rock?”
One of these days my wife and I are going to get ourselves a couple of decent home furniture . But before we can do that, the old ones have to go somewhere else. We really love to have something like the pictures above. Hoping, praying and waiting. Till then.
I don't know why these days the network/internet connection is always on and off at school. It's really frustrating and annoying all the time when it happens. I've been wanting to pack up my courage and ask the network guy what are the measures taken to settle this problem. It keeps on happening everyday since summer school started. This morning I've been trying so hard to connect to the internet but the darn thing wouldn't want me to. It seems to be connected but no data transfers are happening. I really hope they'll find a solution to fix this darn thing once and for all before the new school year starts.
I remember one of my ex-colleague from Canada told me that when she goes back to Canada, she'll open up her own guest lounge . She was telling me how she wanted the place to be and who was going to take care of it. She even wanted her daughter to help her with it when their homework spared them. It was interesting to listen to all of her plans. By the way she's a physiotherapist and not a business lady or something. Well, I guess probably she's so fed up of being a teacher over here in Thailand. Maybe that was the reason for the career change. From physiotherapist to educator and from educator to a Bed and Breakfast owner!
I'm really wondering whether she had fulfill her dream or not? Maybe one of these days I should email her and ask her about that!

Hooray! Good news everyone! The rest of the 19 South Korean hostages will be freed soon! What's the catch? Well, South Korean troops should have to leave Afghanistan and no Christian volunteers for a while. I'm really happy for them. Finally, their nightmare will end soon. God Bless them all and may their return home be a safe one! Boy, they really had an experience of a life time to share to the rest of the world.
Are you the kind of person who is curious about anything? Well, I can definitely say that sometimes I do get curious about stuffs. But, not to the extreme though. Looking back at my childhood years I don't think I can recall any stupid things that I've done just to satisfy my curiosity. I got to tell you that what they are doing is pretty interesting. Imagine, your job is focused in studying about the "likes" of every person.
At last! I got my car fixed and got myself a pair of new shock absorbers which costs me exactly 1,600 Baht! Expensive? I don't think so, although the total cost for everything include the service and the replacement of all the rubbers(don't know what it really is) for the wheels amounted to 2,400 Baht! It kind of upsets my wife but, she was all right with it after that.
Thanks to the improvements, I'm beginning to love my car again! Goodbye to the bumpy rides! Later!
Taking my car to the garage tomorrow. Again it needs some minor fixing. This time it's the shock absorbers . It's been a problem ever since! It's too loose and it smashed almost all of my mud-guard except for the left front one. Dang! I hope it doesn't cost that much. We really need to save for next month or else *yikes!* All right, I think I'll be heading for the bed now. Nite everyone!

She even told me that her father was once furious at her for having a very short haircut. She told me that the only skirt she had was her school uniform. And I was really surprised by her revelations. What? No wonder her friends nick-named her "psycho." Well, so far, she did act kind of weird every time I was tutoring her.
Anyway, my guess is she's probably going through a difficult stage in life. According to her, her father is always away taking people on tours. He's a tour guide by the way. Maybe her father needs to spend more time, quality time with her. She told me that her mother is always home taking care of the house and doing other stuffs like what a housewife should commonly do. I'm starting to wonder what really is happening or going on inside her head. So far I've talked to her about the choices that she has in life. I told her that as long as she's still depending on her parents, there's no way for her to have her own ways about things. I mean, she has to obey her parents.
I believe she needs someone to listen to her complaints and whatever it is that annoys her. For instance, today, I asked her what she wanted to be when she completes her highest education. And to my surprise, she responded happily and told me that she was interested in becoming a photographer, a fashion adviser and a money lender(strange). But, anyway, I was glad that she did have goals for herself in life. I'm going to keep on talking to her every now and then. I have the feeling that it's a part of my duty to keep her away from trouble. Well, I guess that's it for now. Later everyone!

Finally, after a very long wait I was able to watch this movie! I really enjoyed watching it with my wife although she dozed off somewhere in the middle of the actions. I was so glued to all the scenes. My colleague was right. Watching the movie makes you want to run and escape with Jason Bourne every step of the way. I really loved the way he(Mat Damon) thinks and acts in this movie. Mat Damon is one of my personal favorite actor. He really knows how to act brilliantly! I really recommend this movie to all of you out there! I consider it good because it's not too violent. Not like Die Hard 4.0 It's really worth watching.
Hey everyone! It's friday again and I'm looking forward to a wild and fun weekend out of this big smokin' crowded city. This time my wife and I won't be by ourselves only. We're going to be accompanied by two old friends of ours(Bob & Claire) and one new acquaintance(Suzain). This evening, we'll be heading back to ... guess where ... MC again! Ahhh...the thought of not being in school teaching the kids, massages my mind! Ummm...I like it! Can't wait to get out of school! Every seconds of waiting is torturing my patience. I wish I can just drag the time to 3:30 pm.
These past few days I've been teaching the in-house summer students fictional and non-fictional writing. It was not that all serious but still, they are expected to learn something. So far, the number of students keep on increasing due to the unexpected enrollment of the students who doesn't really need the enrichment but because of the unwillingness of the parents to watch them at home! Bad parents! Why don't they for once treat their children as children who are deprived of relaxing lazily like crazy at home! It's fine to send those who truly needs extra pound of knowledge to summer school but, to send those who are already capable, I don't think that's logical. Well anyway, it's their money that they're wasting not mine. So, I don't really mind at all anyway. Okay I'm shutting up already! Yes! Whatever it is nothing is going to stop me from having fun this weekend! Later guys!
Greetings to all! Yes! It's the last day for lazying around. Tomorrow we're back to work. How I wished the holidays were longer. Sometimes I think it's better for us to be our own boss. You know what I mean right? You don't have to worry about pleasing others or to stick to someone else's schedule and all that stuff. I kind of envy those people who owns their own business. They just relax and do their jobs at their own time and pleasure. Tsk tsk tsk. People like Mitch(bro-in-law) are one of those lucky people. Hey someone please give me a smack or two...get me back to reality! Arrrgh!
Anyways, I spent my day by making breakfast well...to be precise...preparing breakfast that consists of Feel Good Vanilla flavored milk and Weet-Bix whole grain like thingy. Believe me everyone, these are really delicious(to me of course) healthy breakfast! Got the chance to cook fried rice with Chinese chicken sausage this afternoon. Man! I was sweating all over and you should look at the sight of the kitchen! It's in a mess! But, I managed to clean it in the evening! Don't want to pile up the dishes and all because she hates it!
For entertainment, I watched Catch & Release (Romantic comedy) and Nacho Libre (Comedy). Both movies are great! Well, catch you guys again later.
Yes! We're back to living our old lives again! Two weeks in Mission College was quite ... relaxing. Especially for ... me. Wrong! I didn't spend all my days there doing nothing. There were a few times when I went back and forth from MC to BKK in a day! Two trips I went with companies from MC to BKK were ok! But, the third trip I made yesterday was ... uh ... kind of bad. I forgot to check the expiration date for my visa. Luckily the people from my school called me and informed me about it. Darn! I didn't like it, but I have to go to BKK immediately to fix it! Thank God! What I thought was impossible turn out to be possible for that day! At the end of the day, after going through the process of fixing my visa and work permit, again I hopped on the 6pm van and experienced another 2 grueling hours of travel to MC. I made it there at around 8pm. Phew! What a day it was! Well, I guess that's all for now! Later everyone!
