I was doing the dishes this afternoon when my thoughts suddenly went back to a particular event a few years back. That time we were in Sabah for the summer break. We got together with a few friends of ours to just hang out and catch up with good old times. In the evening when it was time for us to go home, we got the invitation from one of our friends to hitch a ride in her big brother's car. If I'm not mistaken, there were five of us in the car including the driver(big brother). I was the last one who got into the car. I was being poliet, so I tried my best not to slam the door close. Because of that the door wasn't really closed properly. Then out of nowhere, the brother blurted out in Malay, "Perempuan kah, lelaki? Kuat sikit bah." (Are you a girl or a guy? Harder please.) I was like, "What?!" I nearly lifted up my foot and kick him on the head. But, unfortunately I didn't. Was that really necessary? I know, sticks and stones may break my bones but not words. Well, I don't really believe in that saying anymore. Words, can really hurt you internally. I'm not saying that it can injure you or something, but in a way words can destroy your self-esteem. It can be really degrading to a person. I'm not being over sensitive here. But, the fact is words may be more dangerous than weapons. "The tongue is a double edge sword." I wished that that guy could have said something else. Well folks, the lesson here is never say anything without having to think about it first!
It's a holiday for us today so I took the chance to watch one of the movies that I was dying to watch a few months back. Yup, that's the title up there.
Basically, it's a martial art movie. It's about an exiled prince who was later called back to reign as a king. A lady warrior was sent to search for this exiled prince. In the beginning, the prince was kind of hesitant to go with her but through some difficult moments with her, his heart somewhat changed because of his past memories and the determination he sees from this lady warrior. Well folks, I don't want to spoil the whole thing. Please watch if for yourself. Personally, I think the movie was great! Why? It's not about the whole flying, slashing, stabbing, kicking thing. There's more to the story behind the characters. In my observation, I can find the theme of love, loyalty, bravery, sacrifice and a love for freedom. I don't know about you, but these are my thoughts. Till then...peace!
If any of you are interested in this movie, please chime in! I'll be glad to give you the link.
I was just browsing through Stage6 video on Sunday night and I stumbled upon a Japanese series titled "Proposal Daisakusen". Something about the comments of the guy or gal who uploaded the series really caught my attention, "J-Drama romance about having second chance with your lost love". Hmmm....I said to myself, then off went my fingers clicking here and there for all the current episodes that were aired. Currently, the up loader has so far uploaded 5 episodes of it. Oh ya, by the way, this show is still airing in Fuji TV every Monday at 21:00 p.m. I really recommend you guys to watch it. It has everything in it, from friendship to romance. I'm sure you'll like it! I have all the 5 episodes so far and I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the episodes! Six more episodes to go!
Shucks! I forgot to tell you guys a lil' bit about it.
Iwase Ken, is obstinate and unskilled in love, but he fell long ago for the lively and cheerful woman, Yoshida Rei. But Rei is about to get married to another man. While Ken and other friends from high-school attend the wedding ceremony, a fairy appears and sends Ken back in time, giving him a second chance to win the girl he loves.
Here are the main characters of that series:
Yamashita Tomohisa as Iwase Ken
Nagasawa Masami as Yoshida Rei
Where to download?
Now, you guys might probably be wondering how I downloaded these series. Okay, but first of all you need to have the proper tools .
1. Go to Proposal Daisakusen & choose & click any of the episodes(of course you'd start with ep.1).
2. A new window opens where you'll be given the choice to play(which is to watch it online) or download the file.
3. I chose to download the file so that I can watch it again & again. Usually, if you're using Firefox there's this small pop-up download window which shows you the progress. Right click on the file you're downloading & choose properties.
4. There in the properties you'll see the location of where the file's from. Highlight the location with your mouse & copy it.
5. Open up your FlashGet program & add download.
6. Rename the file if you like & press OK.
7. Wait patiently & watch with Media player classic or DivX Player.
8. Enjoy!
*Keep checking out the series because the uploader will be adding in the next episodes every now & then.
I really forced myself to wake up this morning. Why? Well, don't ask me. I don't think I have the slightest idea too. Strange right? Have you ever had this kind of feeling before? Or am I the only one experiencing it. I'm still wondering why? Maybe I'm bored of the daily routine that I've to go through? Maybe I need a change in my life? Well, whatever is shadowing my mind now, I pray that the Big Guy will shed some light into it.
More music for your leeching pleasure!
I have divided this download into 4 parts because it's quite big. Whatever, enjoy!
Another one of my favorites!

This morning I woke up at 6:30 am and drove all the way to Phrom Phong to park my car at the Emporium outdoor parking lot. After that, I took the sky train to Sala Daeng and walked about 10 minutes away before reaching Wu Chu Liang building opposite Lumphini Park. I went into the building and went up to the 35th floor to The Reuters Office. Yes...The Reuters! The freelance news agency. In case you guys might be wondering what the heck I was doing there...well...it's business(tutoring lah). Got out of that building around 10 am, stopped by at McDonald's, went back to Phrom Phong and drove to a gas station somewhere along Petchburi road where surprisingly the gas is slightly cheaper than the rest. Filled the car up with 700THB worth of gas and sped home! Arrived home and guess what do you know? Food was already prepared and ready to be gobbled up! What a beautiful life! Don't you guys think so?
For all you Asian music lovers out there, hold on okay. I'm still in the process of uploading some more songs for your leeching pleasure!
A funny thing happened this afternoon when I had my combined BM reading comprehension class. This annoying girl student of mine came into the classroom, quickly grabbed one of the old green chairs, dragged it next to the a/c switch and switched it off. I gave her a strange and weird look. Usually, this girl would come into the classroom and without any warning at all will start to complain on and on about how hot it is in there. But this time she didn't. After giving her the strange look for a second....I continued...."are you sick?" and she replied "yes." and started crying. I don't know why, but....it's kind of funny to see her acting that way. I mean, she suddenly stop being sooo darn annoying and boisterous. She was not being herself! I know what you guys are thinking now. I should be happy that she's not acting like her usual self, but come to think of it I'm kind of used to her annoying old self. Anyway, everything went just fine for the rest of the period. Everyone survived!
I thought of posting this on Sunday night but, I was too tired to do so. We had a great time at MC last weekend! Ah....how time flies. In my head, it feels like those graduates just came here(MC) yesterday. But, really they are done! Yup! They've finished their four years of grueling studies at MC camp. Congrats to all of them ladies and gents whom I know! Remember guys, it's not over yet! Your sufferings has just started! Muhahahah! It's time for the real thing! Welcome to the real world of .... whatever! God Be with each and everyone of you!
What's wrong with life nowadays? Recently, I found myself thinking about how to generate more income in just a blink of an eye. Of course it's not bad to think about this every now and then, but to freeze yourself in an idle state of mind over this is somewhat inappropriate. sigh...with the fast pace of life now days no wonder all of us are tempted to indulge ourselves in the many things that we could possess. Maybe...I'm in that status at the moment? Or am I? I'm trying to search for an excuse that would make me innocent of this accusation. If there were less needs in our lives then probably our wants would gradually decrease too. Hmmm..make sense? I don't know! I hate to be in this position! Why are we sooo exposed to the sufferings of life?
I'm suppose to be sleeping right now, but for some reason I couldn't get these eyes wide open shut! Dang! Well, anyway I'm taking this chance to post an entry for my blog. Took a nap this evening while waiting for the UBC guy to come. But, sadly...he never showed up! We've been waiting for this guy to do the installation since saturday evening! It's already tuesday! Promises promises! *Why I oughtta !#$@ that guy for breaking his promises! He better be here tomorrow evening or else...we'll just turn down the whole installation thingy. Might as well not subscribe that darn thing at all. Ouch!!! I can feel my shoulder aching now...I guess it's a sign for me to stop bugging the keyboard and let it rest. Oh ok...I guess that'll be all for tonight...I mean this morning. Catch you guys later!
